During President Trump’s 2016 campaign, Sen. Cory Gardner of Colorado stated he wouldn’t support Donald Trump due to the release of the “Access Hollywood” tape.
“I cannot and will not support someone who brags about degrading and assaulting women,” Gardner had said.
But that was before Trump made massive improvements bringing prosperity to the United States and championing the desires of the American people. So now, sighting a preference over Democrats, Gardner rushed to be one of the first to support Trump’s 2020 run.
“I know what Kamala Harris and I know what Bernie Sanders will do to Colorado,” Gardner shared with the Independent Journal Review. “And that’s why I’ll be supporting the president.”
While Gardner didn’t say what it was exactly he was afraid of from Democrats and his loyalty isn’t really assured, Trump nevertheless thanked him over Twitter.
“Thank you to Senator Rob Portman and Senator Cory Gardner for the early and warm endorsement,” Trump posted to Twitter. “We will ALL WIN in 2020 together!”
